more old things!

here we are. more things that i drew years ago. i hope you don't think i'm lazy, just every spare second the missus and i get this month, we are shooting off to see people before Christmas. i wish i wasn't so popular, i really do, it's knackering.

(these last two were spray painted onto canvas using stencils, in my old man's garage)

old things

hey! i've been mentally busy the last week or so because of Christmas preparations etc so sorry about the lack of posts. i thought to fill the void i'd put up a few pics from the ol' scrapbook. it's all a few years old by now, but i hope you enjoy them all none the less. xo

records records records

sorry it's been a few days, i've just been busy putting up trees, wrapping presents, and throwing the world's smallest snowballs (Brighton was shit for snow compared to the rest of Britain this week). i love this drawing and i drew it with a poem in mind, which is always easier then putting a poem to a picture. just got to finish it now, see you all soon. happy december! xo

oh no!!!!

this is a general idea of how i'd like this piece to look when it's done, i'm painting the broken shards right now. i imagine it all being presented on a paving slab to fit all the bottles crowded round the broken bottle in the middle, in a puddle of red paint, rather than a piece of red paper. it may take a while to find what i'm looking for, but there's nothing in the pipelines at the moment so i guess there's no rush. cool though, huh? xo

raise the white flag

Calling All Cynics 7"- Keep Screaming Records

split 7" with The Outpatients- Keep Screaming Records/Demo-Lition Records

a few years back i did a punk/hc band called Raise The White Flag with some friends of mine; Salad Sam, Turkey Sub, and the illustrious Demo Dan. it was the best of times, it was the worst of times (worst is an exaggeration, it was very very fun). i thought i'd dig up a few scraps from the archives, give people an insight in to how my drawing has progressed (or declined, if you prefer what you see here, over the years) and give you all a peek at my young body before i started drinking and getting fat. something for everyone. the flyers were picked at random, and the photos were picked to print that mental image of a young, energetic version of me into peoples' minds, rather than the lazy truth.

we have no brain

i'm adding colour at the moment. the photos, that are cut into strips on the floor, are photos of my other pictures. following the fun i had doing the Bike Ride picture, i'm considering doing a 'zine, hopefully followed by a second and third and fourth, all with the same idea, using different themes. hopefully anyway, i'll keep you posted xo

bike ride complete!

here's the picture what me and my friends done!
credits go to Lord Mike of Tapia, Sir Barnaby of Atkins, and Lady Alice of Hennell, for their brilliant bikes.

this is the most fun idea i've had in while, so i think i'm going to get other people involved more, horse rides, dragons maybe (as i do live and breath Harry Potter), i dunno. i'm also considering compiling shit like this for a fanzine, i'll keep you posted if and when that gets under way. Deathly Hallows tomorrow! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRGH! xo

fuck you, hand!

that bit on my drawing hand going from my little finger to the wrist is always giving me grief, i guess from always drawing, writing, shaking sticky love coconuts from the veiny love tree, computers, phones blah blah blah. either way, me and my hand aren't happy. going to have to either get a bionic right hand or learn to draw with my left hand before i blow my own brains out xo

brain drain

this is obviously just started, i thought i'd post something now as it's a busy couple of days coming up. it's a very exciting week, come 8pm friday night i'll be the happiest boy in the world watching Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1! i've never been so excited about any film in my whole life! yussss xo

bike ride

here's a new project i started this week. i'm getting some of my nearest and dearest to draw me push bikes, and then i pop some people on them. it's great fun getting everyone involved, and watching their screwed up little faces, as they concentrate on drawing the bikes, is simply priceless. on a different matter; in my on-going battle with time, i've managed to win a couple of hours a day back! my mate Barnaby gave me all the Harry Potter audio books, so now i don't have to learn to read at all, instead i can join Harry, Ron and Hermione in their adventures AND i don't have to put down my crayons! life is extremely sweet xo
